Dark Knight vs Avatar vs Inception HD Movie Trailers and Reviews
You’ve seen all 3. Who hasn’t? The Dark Knight has broken the $1 billion mark, Avatar is nearing $3 billion, and Inception is nearing half a billion dollars in its first few weeks. Together, these movies have brought in about as much revenue as the GDP of Zimbabwe. The question is: which movie is the best?
At Rotten Tomatoes, The Dark Knight received a 93% “Fresh” rating by 274 movie critics, Avatar received 83% with 268 reviews, and Inception received 87% with 249 reviews. But, in the end, it really comes down to everyday movie goers like you and me. So, please voice your opinion in the comments and vote in the poll below.
My take: all 3 movies left me somewhat speechless, but Inception left me in the biggest state of awe. The Dark Knight was great as well, Heath Ledger dominated the part of the Joker and took the movie to a whole new level. Lastly, Avatar completely blew my mind as a new art form. I can’t believe most of the movie was computer generated. Overall, I was most entertained by Inception. That’s just my take though, but please sound off in the comments, I want to hear what you think.

TDK and INCEPTION was incredible movies , but AVATAR is best
AVATAR is the best movie in the last decade
1-TDK
2-AVATAR
3-INCEPTION
all these movie was fantastic but
1-Avatar
2-the dark knight
3-inception
well, its a difficult comparism
1st avatar
2nd inception
3rd batman the dark knight
absolutely avatar is better than the others
hahah i cant say which is the best because these 3 movies was the best movie i have ever seen in the last five years
well , i think avatar is the best
its really a difficult comparism
but it must be comparize
well,,,
acting: TDK
directing: AVATAR
soundtrack: INCEPION
1. Inception
2. The Dark Knight
3. Avatar
1. The Dark Knight
2. Inception
3. Avatar
The Dark Knight/Inception tie
Avatar
all 3 are really good though
when viewed superficially one may find tdk or inception great but they don’t have depth. tdk, the only well characterized character is the joker. the others fall flat. same goes with inception. lack of characterization (arthur)
avatar (and all JC movies) have loveable characters, with great depth. Their inner feelings are well enunciated. on a holistic viewing, not superficial viewing, you will notice all the allegorical messages the film contains. from the iraq crisis to the corporate capitalism…..all are allegorical
in fact……it resembles 2001 odyssey a lot
both have mysterious forces
ewya in avatar and the monolith in 2001
both deal with the progress and corruption of human soul
both communicate allegorically though the latter is more esoteric.
James Cameron’s avatar is a perfect blend of class and blockbuster. Nolan lacks that and trys to pass of his film as art. Inception is pretentious and makes people smart. the film has a million potholes, the dialogues are drab, suffers from lack of characterization, convoluting plot, incoherence. It doesn’t explore the total potential of a dream. Dreams can have 10 times crazier stuff, trust me. On grounds of originality, Avatar may resemble pocahontas, fern gully, smurfs or whatever. That does’t make it a weak film. If you think it makes it weak, every film ever to win best adapted screenplay award sucks (the godfather, casablanca, gone with the wind). Incpetion is a rip-off of Paprika (japanese manga) and Matrix. Insomnia is a remake
Avatar is superior
1.Avatar
2.The Dark Knight
3.Inception
The dark knight was great, but avatar was better, but when it comes to all three, inception was the best in almost every way (story, originality, soundtrack, etc.) and it was the only one of the three where I finished watching it and immediately wanted to watch it again.
My Opinion:
1. Inception
2. Avatar
3. The Dark Knight
All three are great movies, though.
1) Inception
2) The Dark Knight
3) Avatar
I thought Avatar sucked, I only got half way through the movie. The others are far superior, but Inception tops TDK beecause i can watch it again and again and never get bored.
Plus, the cast is BRILLIANT and the soundtrack is one of the best i’ve heard for a while.
You made some nice points there. I did a search on the issue and found most people will agree with your blog.
